lumen

Remove unwanted objects from a photo.

Paint over what you want gone, tap Erase, and lumen's Magic eraser fills it in with what would be behind it. Only what you painted changes: the rest of your photo stays exactly as it was, at its full size.

Free to try with an account: 3 photos with AI.

How it works

  1. Choose a photo. It opens in lumen's editor with the Magic eraser ready.
  2. Sign in with Google or an email link (no password). Paint over the person, sign, or object that should go, with the brush as small or large as you need, and tap Erase.
  3. Erase more if you like, add a look, and download.

What it costs

A new account gets 3 photos with AI to try. One photo covers every AI tool on it: each Erase is one run, up to 8 runs within a week, shared with Remove background and Auto enhance on the same photo.

For more, lumen Pro is US$4.99 for 30 days, with 100 photos with AI. It never renews by itself. See the plans.

Your photo

When you run an AI tool, the photo is uploaded once and kept for a week with its results, so you can use more tools on it without uploading it again. Then it is deleted. The AI runs on GPUs rented from RunPod, which does not store it, and lumen never uses your photos to train models. Everything else in the editor runs on your device. Privacy.
